At the forefront of the fight against Russian invasion alongside corona virus is the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
44 years old Volodymyr Zelensky, is the first Jewish incumbent President of Ukrain after winning against Poroshenko in the 2019 elections. This makes him the sixth leader of Ukrain.
He is also co-heading the rulling party ” Servant of the people”,a party which obtained it’s name from a series movie that starred Zelensky as a major character playing the role of the Ukrainian president. The movie was quite popular in Ukraine from 2015 to 2019 prior to his election.
Zelensky is married to Olena Zelenska and a father of two. His father and mother were computer professor & Engineer respectively.
Growing up as a Russian native speaker in Kryvyi Rih,(Ukrain), He read law in the university yet expressed his passion for comedy and acting as he starred in many movies and comedy shows
Zelensky built a solid career in comedy and acting before running for presidency.
In 2003, He co-founded Kvartal95, a movie production house that created comedy series, animations & movies which made fun and critized poor governance in the country amidst other ideas.
President Zelensky has experienced quite a lot as leader of Ukrain, becoming president just before outbreak of the pandamic corona virus and now battling with the invasion of Ukrain by Russia.
