🚫First Allow a two step verification by adding an email address to your account instead of just a number.
Here’s how to add an Email to your Facebook account
💻open your Facebook account and navigate to the top right hand corner and tap on the three lines
💻the lines gives you a drop down menu, from it, choose privacy setting and tap on setting
💻Click on ‘manage Contact Info’ and proceed to tap ‘Add Email Address’
💻Note in certain cases, Facebook might ask you to put in your password at this juncture. However if it doesn’t, you will be asked to Put in the Email Address’ you wish to add to your account.
💻After Adding your Email, a confirmation code will be sent to your email. Copy it and fill it in and congratulations you just secured your Facebook account.
🚫Second, pick a strong Password that can’t easily be decrypted. Avoid using passwords like your birthday, your name, your phone number,, your best friend’s name etc. All these can easily be grasped by hackers.
🚫Third, avoid clicking on every link that is sent to you, some of the links are linked to softwares that can collect your information even without your knowledge.
🚫Keep about five close friends who can attest to Google in future if your account gets hacked.
