Al-jazeera Journalist, Shireen Abu Aqla dies in war front

As Aqla was being buried yesterday, mourners and colleagues were commenting on her calm and hard working nature. The president spoke about taking her death case to the highest criminal court, he equally said: “We hold the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for her killing and they will not be able to conceal the truth with this crime,”

Shireen Abu Aqla was born on 3rd January 1971 and died 11 May 2022 at age of 51. she has been a correspondent for Al-jazeera Arabic news channel for 25 years and even reported on the Israeli/Palestinian crisis for 20years.

She has bachelor’s degree in print media, has worked with media houses like: Radio Monte Carlo and Voice of Palestine, Abu Akleh UNRWA, the Amman Satellite Channel, and MIFTAH.

She has been a Christian and had a Bethlehem-based family.The names of children, husband and family members have not been released to the public.
